Jubilee hospital will be turning 60 years old on Nov 13, 2015 and the hospital management has planned an Open Day Celebration on the same day to commemorate this day.
The theme of the open day, “Sharing 60yrs of Health Service Delivery with Jubilee Hospital,” will run through the programmes that will be displayed on the day. The Open Day aims to demystify the negative perception around the hospital and to draw the community to participate in future relations with the hospital. One of the NPO’s in Hamanskraal that is assisting with the event, “BoMkhaya ba ko Temba,” said the hospital is organizing this event with a zero budget thus relies on public and private partners’ donations. “On behalf of the Jubilee Hospital, “Friends of the Hospital” (BoMkhaya ba ko Temba) request your participation either in a form of monetary or any other donation towards catering, a marquee, chairs and tables that can accommodate approximately 1000 guests,” the NPO said in a statement.
