The Temba Water Treatment Plant was shut down today for purpose of maintenance and upgrading work in the plant today.
The service interruption period was scheduled for 24 hours starting from 7:30 am.
During this period, the City has arranged roaming water tankers to supply water to the affected residents.
The following areas are affected, Stinkwater, Dilopye. Temba. Babelegi industrial area, Marokolong, Ramotse. Majaneng, Mandela Village, Sekampaneng and Hammanskraal.
Once the water supply is restored, residents are urged to use water sparingly to ensure that the reservoirs retain their full capacity.
