A Tshwane Metro Police Officer has been shot dead at unit D Temba while vising his girlfriend a while ago. Sources who were at the scene at the time of reporting the incident to Moretele Times said a white VW Polo made a U-turn and parked next to the police officer’s vehicle which was parked off the road.
Two unidentified men allegedly stepped out of the VW Polo and a quarrel ensued which allegedly resulted in the Police Officer attempting to reach for his service pistol from his car before allegedly being shot dead through the head and chest.
It is also alleged that nothing was taken from him or from his vehicle after the incident.
The name of the gunned down police officer has been made known to Moretele Times however Moretele Times cannot publish his name before his next of kin has been informed.
