Hammanskraal foster parents workshopped on child rearing

Foster parents in Temba Hammanskraal were workshopped on child rearing by the Department of Social Development and the Temba Social Workers.

The meeting held yesterday at Makgoba Sebotha Multipurpose Community Centre at Unit D, Temba Hammanskraal was also to advice foster parents on handling children in a good and respectable manner and also to  help foster parents with challenges they faced.

Foster parents came in numbers to attend what will be an annual meeting to participate in discussion that started at 09h00 and ended at 16h00 in the afternoon.

A file will be produced by the social worker to help foster parents with challenges and complains of fostering children.

There will also be feedback on how Hammanskraal foster parents are coping with children in their everyday life.
