The City of Tshwane’s Bus Service (TBS) has upgraded its fare collection mechanism from paper tickets and coupons to the new and improved cashless system.
This method, which is also used by the City’s Tshwane Rapid Transit, A Re Yeng provides for an integrated travel card that can be used on both systems. This system takes away the risk of cash handling for both the passengers and the bus drivers.
The Executive Mayor of the City of Tshwane, Mr Solly Msimanga and the Member of the Mayor Committee responsible for Roads and Transport, Ms Sheila-Lynn Senkubuge, announced this at a media briefing today.
