The Temba water treatment is set to shut down for 24 hours on April 21 from 08:00 to 08:00 the following day.
This is due to tie-ins at raw water pump station, chlorine pump station and interconnecting pipework in between those hours.
The Hammanskraal and Temba surrounding areas have been experiencing water crises since previous months. Several complains have been made regarding water in Hammanskraal including unclean water that causes running and stomach pains as well as stoppage of water without notice.
The city of Tshwane will be supplying residents with water in the process and it also apologies for the inconvenient water shutdown.
