Masakhane Primary school under 13 soccer team impressed Coach James Mwatshe on their 1-0 loss in a friendly match against Skampaneng primary school, recently at a game played at the school.

This was a test match to keep the players of both teams fit for the upcoming school soccer tournament in which these schools will participate.

Although Masakhane lost the match their coach was very delighted with their performance “I am very impressed even though we lost 1-0, but we were better than them throughout the match, my boys played good football but we were unlucky today” said Mr Mwatshe.

Geoffrey Maswangane, Skampaneng primary school head coach also praised Masakhane primary school performance and said they played good football today but they were unlucky, then we converted the only chance we got and won the match.

Masakhane captain Sibusiso Mathibela (12) also felt they were unlucky “we should have won the match, but we were unfortunate.”

Both coaches believe these boys have a lot of talent and that it should be natured for them to be professional footballers in the near future.
