Temba Police arrested 55 People during an operations by detectives to raid suspects.
Constable Herman Moremi of Temba Police said seven of the arrested suspects were wanted for murder cases and 29 for possession of marijuana and two for attempt murder and one for rape.
Police also managed to track down a hijacked vehicle and one suspect was arrested in possession of the vehicle.
Two other suspects were arrested for drunk driving and three for house breaking and theft and one for armed robbery.
The other suspects were arrested for minor crimes.
Constable Moremi said police are working around the clock to make sure that all citizens are safe and urged everyone to report any criminal activities on 08600 10111 or Temba SAPS on 012 717 9000.
