Youth in Motion Dance Studio will be hosting a drama play on Saturday at Masakhane Chipile Chipile Tavern in Dirtig to raise awareness against the abuse of woman and children.

The Saturday Dark Mzansi Drama play will be the first show of Youth in Motion Dance Group performed by pupils from the age of eight to 13.

The group revived two months ago because they did not have a place to practice their play and host events after formation of their group in 2014. Among other activities that will take place on Saturday is dance and poetry.

Mogomotsi Maphuta, the founder of Youth in Motion group stated that the event aims to give the voiceless the voice to speak out before it is too late to control their situations.

He said the play is based on daily experiences and gives the pupils a chance to showcase their talent and to give them hope that they can be bigger than they think.

The event is set to start at 12:00 on Saturday and entry fee is R30
