Plans are under way after Moretele Times Charity learned that one of the twins who is completely disabled, Lesego, is in need of a specialised wheelchair.

A sitting specialist with 15 years of experience dealing with children born with Cerebral Palsy (a condition that makes muscles to stiffen quite often), is scheduled to visit Lesego to determine what kind of a Buggy wheelchair and a sleeping cort will be suitable for him.
A donor for the custom made wheelchair, Ms Kimberly Budge, said she could not wait for the process to measure Lesego to be completed so that Lesego can receive his new comfortable wheelchair.
Yesterday donations from different donors were delivered to the Mokobane family in the good will of assisting the disabled twins.

“After the heart-breaking story was published, we received floods of heart-warming people around the country offering to assist the disabled twins.
“Clothes, toiletry and food are some of the things people have donated to the family in the spirit of Ubuntu since we are in the Mandela month,” said Boipelo Lecogo, Managing Member of Moretele Times.
A private social worker, Ms Mimmy Ledwaba, volunteered her services to do an assessment of the family needs and produced a report. Ms Ledwaba initially donated her late husband’s wheelchair, which was found to be unsuitable for Lesego. “We thank Ms Ledwaba for her generosity and we will be using the report to look for long term solutions for Lesego,” said Ms Lecogo.
The family of Mokobane thanked all people who came forward to offer assistance and further said God must bless all who heard their cries for help.
