Two South African biggest cricket franchise, the Lions and the Titans are to battle it out in a one day tournament to be hosted in Hammanskraal by the Hammanskraal Cricket Club on 13 September 2017 at the Mandela Cricket Oval.
These two cricket rivals will partake in the tournament that is set to make the people of Hammanskraal aware of the sport and to participate in it and possibly make a career out of it.
”We want to make kids of Hammankraal aware of the sport and to inspire them through the professional cricket players which they normally see on TV,”said Mr Ikhumotseng Moto, the cricket organizer at the Hammanskraal cricket club.
Mr Moto further said the aim of the tournament is to market the Hammanskraal cricket club brand to the community and to attract as many kids as possible from the community to play cricket.
The Hammanskraal cricket club is hoping to win many hearts of the kids from local schools after the tournament.
