A 48 year old man was arrested yesterday at around 18:00 at Eersterus in Hammanskraal for allegedly abducting and raping a 14 year old girl.
The mother of the child alleged that she was called by her neighbor to come quickly at her house to witness what is happening and on arrival she found the shack locked and her child was inside.
When they broke the door they found the child inside who said she was locked inside on Sunday and the suspect was having sexual intercourse with her everyday till on the 13 September 2017 this Wednesday.
Police were called at the scene and they managed to arrest the suspect.He will appear at the Moretele magistrate Court soon facing charges of rape.
