An 18 year old man was arrested yesterday night in Temba for allegedly raping a five year old girl at his house in Temba.
The mother of the child alleged that she went to the neighbour with her daughter and she was sitting outside with some people.
Later at around 18:00 her daughter went inside the house to watch TV with an 18-year-old boy. At around 19:00 she went inside the house to check her daughter, surprisingly no one was watching TV. She then went to bedroom as the door was opened.
She find her daughter standing at the corner naked and the suspect was also naked on his bed. When she asked her daughter what happened she explained that the suspect undressed her and raped her.
Constable Herman Moremi of Temba Saps said the police were called and the suspect was arrested and is expected to appear at Moretele Magistrate Court on Monday to face rape charges.
