His passion for music started when he was still a boy listening and appreciating the music played by the African legends like Brenda Fassie, Lucky Dube, Salif Keita, Ismael Lo, PAPA Wemba, Youssou N’dor and other musicians.
Born Kefentse Lengola Mabele, Belex’s music fraternity expanded to open new doors where house music and kwaito emerged. It was the music of Glen Lewis, DJ Christos, Iggy Smalls, DJ Khabzela, DJ Fresh, Oskido, Don Laka and other Djs and artist that inspired BELEX to continue doing his music and sharing with the public.
The arising vocalist has shared the stage with the likes of Dr Malinga , Josta, Black Motion, and Dr Moruti. He has performed at Temba Stadium, Pat’s Phola Garden, Drive Through Car Wash, Grind Chill out and Darkie’s Pub in Hammanskraal.
He is also set to collaborate with OB Print and Frank Hopper from Hammanskraal.
BELEX is a versatile artist and a songwriter that can adjust and sing any genre RnB, tribal House, soulful house, kwaito, jazz and dance. He is currently working with DJ True Tone and other producers Master Phiwe, DJ Ronnie ‘Ronza’ Shibambo, Thomas Shibambo, RoyB, V-Mentality, Rugza and DJ Tuks also from Soshanguve east of Pretoria who is also about to release his Debut album titled Resurrection.
Belex Has done an album titled My Mind and a single titled ‘In the Heat Of The Night’ and now followed by his second single Tanane and the song is now available for downloads on the Itunes, Amazon, Souncloud and YouTube.
The Vocal Maestro has a vision and establishing himself in the music industry and soon will be in the platforms occupied by other good vocalists like Vusi Nova, Donald, Ringo, Nathi and others. ‘’I have been performing around Gauteng Promoting my music helping by Muva PR’’.
