A 26 year old man wanted for murder, hijacking and armed robberies was arrested yesterday around 11:00 at Stinkwater village in Temba North of Pretoria.
The man was found hiding at his uncle’s place at Trust Farm.
Crime Intelligence Unit and National Intervention Unit (NIU) managed to trace the suspect after hunting him for the crimes he committed in April this year around in Soshanguve and others last year in Limpopo.
He was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm, 14 life rounds of ammunition and a motor bike without registration which is alleged to be involved in commission of a crime.
Constable herman Moremi of Temba Police said the man will appear at Moretele magistrate Court in due cause facing charges of possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
“Other suspects are expected to be arrested,” Constable Moremi said.
