The City of Tshwane would like to inform its residents in the Greater Hammanskraal area of a suspicious cholera outbreak. “Our laboratory section is currently busy on the ground conducting urgent tests to determine if indeed the water is contaminated with cholera,” said Mr Selby Moeketsi Bokaba, Executive Director: Strategic Communication at City of Tshwane.

He said the City has dispatched roaming water tankers to ensure continuous supply of drinking water to the affected residents. We will inform residents on the outcome of the test results.

The affected areas are Dilopye, New Eersterust, Temba, Babelegi Industries, Marokolong, Ramotse, Majaneng, Mandela Village, Sekampaneng and Hammanskraal.
