An intelligence driven operation led to the recovery of a white Toyota Conquest that was found parked outside a residential place at Moretele Bedwang Village on Wednesday, 8 August 2018 at about 12:30.
According to information received, the vehicle was stolen at Mabopane in July 2018.
Upon arrival at the residential place, Crime Intelligence members assisted by Bedwang police found a female who alleged that the car was brought by a male suspect who is working at Centurion.
Sergeant Tumelo Menyatso of the Brits Cluster Communications Unit said the operation ensued and the suspect was arrested and he appeared before Moretele Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 10 August 2018 for possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle.
Investigations are continuing.
