Four suspects aged 16 and 17 were arrested this morning at around 04:00 at Ramotse village and Kekana Gardens in Temba for killing a 30 year old man during robbery at Ramotse at around 11:30 last y night.
The deceased was together with his girlfriend when the suspects came across four boys, and they produced knifes and started robbing them. The suspects took a cellphones from the deceased and the girlfriend and they stabbed the deceased several times on the upper body.
The suspects run to hide at the tavern in Leboneng village and the police who were searching for them found them at 04:00 this morning. Three were arrested on the spot and the fourth suspect was found sleeping at his home.
The suspects still had the knives they used to allegedly murder the deceased and the cellphones were found in their possession.
Constable Herman Moremi of Corporate Communication SAPS Temba said the suspects will appear at Moretele magistrate Court in due cause facing charges of murder and robbery.
