Ritsako game lodge in Hammanskraal hosted a wine show on the 20th October 2018 to showcase some of the best South African wines.
The event commenced from 14:00 PM where types of wines from different farms were on show. The farms that presented their wines are the Glen Carlou Darling Cellars, Clenelly, Grooot Constantia, which is the oldest farm in South Africa situated in Cape Town, the Wolfrtap, Porcupine Ridge, Landskroon, Warwick Estate and Ngiyi Mbali Wines.
Also at the show was the Pingkling Wine, an online store that provides sparkling wine and also sell wine accessories. There was also the Absolute Syle Wines of Distinctions who provide wines for weddings and parties.
One of the presenters, Ms Katlego Tshabangu, from Cape Town, who is also into events marketing said they want to be recognised by the whole world not only South Africa.
Another presenter from the Porcupine Ridge wines from the Cap Beachhood Tree Company, said, ”Our best wine seller is Wolf Trap which emerged in 2017 and we have have seven chairs on their products because they have seven leaders.
There was also Dinokaneng Crafts, which is based in a local community around Hammanskral. They provided wool knitting and animal crafts that they sell around Dinokaneng game reserve.
Also present was the Lifestyle C, a private company owned by Danie Strydom and deals with healthy lifestyle and eating healthy food from Cape Town.
“I am a life coach person because, it is good for a person to know what exactly is good for their body and what not to eat,” he said.
Another presented, Ngiyi Mbali , of Ngiyi Mbali wines said hers is a family business inspired by the vines in the Western cape where a childhood dream was ignited when she met a cellar master.
“My sister tasted the wine six years back and she liked it so she asked a wine mentor to teach her how to start a wine company and that is how we started”, said Boikutso, the brother of the company owner.
The companies that presented aimed to get as much exposure as they can and also to grow in business and building relationships.
Also on offer on the day was the Repa Spa Treatment for massaging, games for the kids, jumping castle, face painting and also magic games for entertainment.
