
The Brits Cluster Trio Task Team in collaboration with Makapanstad SAPS made a break through with the apprehension of three suspects, who were sought for a series of alleged house robberies on Monday, 29 October 2018 at about 13:30.
The suspects aged between 23 and 26 were apprehended at Mathibestad village.
A white Toyota Tazz that was allegedly used to load the stolen items was seized by police.
Other recovered items included two plasma televisions.
According to information received the suspects were all allegedly positively linked to four incidents of reported house robberies around the vicinity of Makapanstad.
Victims were allegedly robbed of their belongings such as cell phones, plasma televisions and cash.
The suspects appeared before the Moretele Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 31 October 2018, for house robbery charges.
SAPS Brits Cluster Spokesperson, Sergeant Tumelo Menyatso, said the Cluster Commander of Brits, Major General Modisagaarekwe Mosimanegape, applauded the members for their sterling call of service in ensuring that the Cluster is not a haven for unlawfulness.
