The Hammanskraal Football Association (HALFA) said they are in need of sponsorship to develop women’s’ football in Hammanskraal.
The women’s soccer tournament is already underway since 09 February 2019 with the aim to develop women’s football around Hammanskraal and it is for this purpose that the HLAFA needs sponsorship.
Mr Jeffrey Mphahlele, the head coach of Kgatelopele Ladies Football Club said the tournament is all about exposing young talent, leadership skills, and also to teach the young ladies how to be role models.
He said the vision and mission is to create a tournament that will dominate the Whole of Hammanskraal region as they might invite clubs which are playing locally, regionally and at provincial level, and become an inspirational brand for all Safa Tshwane and other regions around Gauteng Province.
Mr Mphahlele said the main aim for this tournament is to select 23 player squad out of the Clubs that are affiliated under HALFA.
“The other participating clubs that are not affiliated under HALFA will be there to make the tournaments to be more competitive and also help our locally based player with some experience.
“The 23 players that will be selected during the tournaments will form a team that will represent HALFA at regional, provincial and national level including international level if it happens that we reach that stage. I will also be selecting four technical team members to help with the organizing of the team, “he said.
Mr Mphahlele said companies that are interested in sponsoring this initiative will be promoting active lifestyles and the pursuit of excellence at all levels from recreational to the highest levels of soccer.
The sponsors may choose under the following categories as which one suit their budget:
1) Tournaments Venues – Temba Stadium and Mandela Stadium
2) Winning prize money: R13 000,00 (includes all sections, winners, mid and plate section)
3) Trophies, Medals and diplomas
4) Match Officials for the duration of the tournaments
5) First aid medical staff
6) Soccer match balls
7) Soccer Jersey and bibs
Soccer boots
9) Shin Guards and goalkeeper gloves
10) Water bottles
