Areaganeng old age home in Makapanstad is in desperate need for assistance with the maintenance of the health and well being of the elderly it caters for.
Jerita Mabula, the founder, said the management of the home is struggling with basic needs.
“The last time we received sponsorships was in 2012 when we received an incomplete building.
“The current building we are using is not appropriate for the elderly because it is extremely cold during winter and very hot during summer,” said Jerita
The old age home was started in 2010 with the aim of looking after helpless elderly people and to provide them with healthcare.
The home is in need of a roof structure, plastering, air conditioner, blankets, matresses, adult nappies, food parcels and wheelchairs.
