Boikanyo mentally and disabled children's appreciated the donations

 

Boikanyo Mentally Diabled Childrens Home in Hammanskraal received donations from fund raisers, Mr Simon Thopola together with Kabelo Madise and Ngezi Maluleke.

The three donated clothes to the center after reading about the center’s need for assistance on Moretele Times.

The three gentlemen started their fund raising initiative in 2013 with the aim of assist the needy by donating either clothes or food parcels in Hammanskraal. Boikanyo mentally and disabled children’s home is the second center that the three gentlemen have donated to this year.

Mr Thopola said the center caught their attention on Moretele Times last month and decided to help.

“After reading about the center on Moretele Times, we started raising funds for them and collecting donations as our way of giving back to the community and to honor the spirit of Ubuntu,” said Mr Thopola.

He urged the community to also support the initiative by giving to the needy. “With all the support and courage from the society we can make a difference in someone’s life,” he added.

Ms Magdeline Molapo of Boikanyo Centre said “we are very grateful of what the three gentlemen have done for our children. The clothes they donated will be very much useful as we are in winter and we can only wish them strength and blessings.
