The funeral service of Mr Peter Thobejane will be held at 7:00 am on Saturday 20 July 2019 at the Methodist Church in Unit D Temba. His remains will be interred at the Mashimong Cemetery in Majaneng Village Hammanskraal.
A memorial service is scheduled for Mr Thobejane at 12 pm on Thursday 18 July 2019 at Sebothoma Hall in Unit D Temba.
The late Peter Thobejane was shot dead when he was entering his unit D house in Hammanskraal Temba on Sunday. A gun man allegedly ambushed him after a hangout with his friends at Tom’s place.
A friend of the deceased, Ondy Ngozi, who was with the late the night before he got shot, said, “I won’t say I know what happened.
“On Sunday we were together having a chat at Tom’s place and he never mentioned anything that could put his life in danger. After our chat, we both went our separate ways,” he said.
Constable Herman Moremi, Spokesperson for Temba SAPS said the suspect is unknown including the motive for the killing.
“Nothing was taken from the deceased and no one has been arrested, a case of murder is opened for further investigation,” he said.
