The Velvet Kit will on 31st of August host it’s 4th Annual Women’s Seminar at Ritsako Game Lodge near Hammanskraal. The Velvet Kit is a Non-governmental Organizations aimed at empowering woman and also providing platforms to discuss societal issues that affect women.
Ms Tshego Mathibe-Mathabathe, the founder of The Velvet Kit said ” We discuss topics that people are uncomfortable about or they would like to know more about but don’t know where to start
“Topics discussed at our conferences and summits include legal empowerment, self-defense, how to spice up the bedroom romance, HIV and AIDS, make up tutorials, skin care, building your career and business branding,” said Ms Mathibe-Mathabathe.
She said at the workshops they host, experts in different fields discuss openly about everything that affects women.
“We also include an element of entertainment so that people can loosen up and be free to talk and ask questions so that they can learn in a relaxed environment,” she said.
