The Sunnyhill Eskom foundation donated school uniform to 80 orphans and disadvantaged  children that are under the care of Perseverance Rural Development Centre in Marokolong.

The distribution of school uniform took place on Friday 23 August at Marokolong primary and Lethamaga Primary School at Ramotse.

Perseverance Rural Development Centre is a Non-governmental Organizations which started in 1998 with the aim of looking after the disadvantaged children and Orphans.

It has board member management and care takers and also provide 100 food parcels to the disadvantaged houses every month.

Ms Minkie Mokubela (45), the Centre manager of Perseverance Rural Development Centre said “with the help of Eskom, we distributed all needed uniform like tunics, shirts, shoes, Jerseys, and socks to 80 Orphans and vulnerable children that we service.

“We are doing this  to encourage the kids to attend school and know that our organization cares so much about their education.

Eskom Foundation gave us the donation to buy the uniforms as we are working along with the community, it is our duty to look out for their needs,” said Ms Mokubela.
