A 23 year old NPO founder plans for life after lockdown

Ofentse Mbewe (23), the co-founder of the Uksasa lwethu  Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) from Temba in Hammanskraal,  says the NPO is working on visiting more schools to find out what impact COVID-19 had on learners and what staying at home has taught them.

He said the NPO will be embarking on school visits after the lockdown to educate schools about continued health safety.

Mr Mbewe said the main purpose is to reduce all sorts of negatively among the youth and reduce the spreading of HIV and Aids, teenage pregnancy, drug abuse and make a new generation full of life and positivity.

The NPO is in partnership with Bakwena which helps them with trainings for youth.
