Mr Tebogo Ntlhane in class addressing the kids

A former Ntshwane High School learner, Mr Tebogo Ntlhane (25) who was touched by the suffering of girls faced with the lack of pads when he was a student at the school, has taken it upon himself to help girl children at his former school.

He visited the school today to donate stationery and pads to his former school with the help of Koomba Productions, Kgatso funerals, and Spice Route Vineyard.

He said when he was a student, he experienced how girls’ self-esteem and their school work was affected negatively when they were on periods without pads.

“This is why I decided to help the girls who are facing similar situations today,” he said.

Mr Ntlhane is a South African comedian who bases his comedy on real-life experiences that he observes daily.

His comedy is Christian, clean and appeals to audiences of all ages, gender, race, class, and religion. He is also a master of ceremonies, motivational speaker and entertainer.

He said as we celebrate Women’s Month, there is more need to help young girls as there is pressure from the COVID-19.

“This is not our first event and we are going to host more events like this. We go as far Kempton Park to distribute food parcels to assist families who are affected by the effects of COVID19.

“We also went to POWA to donate clothing and sanitary towels and we donated clothes at a Home with children with special needs including an orphanage in Boksburg,” he said.
