The woman who was reported missing and later found murdered and dumped at Rooiwal, Ms Granny Mabunda, will be buried on 12 September 2020 in Limpopo.
Her memorial service will be held on 09 September 2020 at Portion 9 Block AA Hammanskraal 13:00 with an all-black dress code theme.
The 23 year old Ms Mabunda from Portion 9 in Temba was reported missing on the 31 August 2020. She was last seen on 28 August 2020 when she left home allegedly with her 35-year-old ex-boyfriend going to Jubilee mall and her cellphone went off from that day.
Sergeant Herman Moremi of Temba SAPS confirmed that Police interrogated the boyfriend on 02 September 2020 and released him on 03 September 2020. “He was later found hanging inside his room at Marokolong in Temba and a case of the inquest was registered.”
He said on Friday 04 September police followed the lead tracing cellphone movement and ended up in the area of Pretoria North SAPS, they proceeded to the police station and found a murder case which was registered on the 31 August.
They went together with the family to identify the body, and it was identified and found with injuries on the head, they suspected that an object was used during the crime.
