The beneficiaries of the government R350 grant from as far as Makapanstad and Kgomo Kgomo were left stranded today at the Temba Post Office due to lack of electricity.
Disappointed members who hoped to withdraw their R350 grant at the Post Office had to make means to go to other post offices to access their grants.
Other beneficiaries had to plead with taxi drivers to take them to Mayville or Pyramid so they can access their grants with the promise that they will pay the taxi fares after they have been paid.
The officials at the post office requested members of the community to leave the post office as there was nothing else they could do to help them.
