Cyferskuil SAPS led by the Station Commander, Capt Letlhaka, took it upon themselves to make services easily accessible to the community.
The Commander with his team visited wheelchair-bound, Ms Ditebogeng Mphela(43), of Dipetlelwane village to make an arrangement that, should she need services of the police, she can just call the CPO, Sgt Makhubela or Capt Letlhaka, who will make sure that she is serviced from the comfort of her home.
Ms Mphela stays 16 kilometers from the police station and frequently needs the services of the police such as certifying documents and affidavits.
Ms Maria Nkabinde of SAPS said such a selfless commitment to the call of duty as demonstrated by Cyferskuil SAPS is really commendable and creating a desirable and reputable corporate image.
“This action is also fulfilling one of the fundamental principles of the eight Batho Pele Principles of access to services,” she said.
