Temba police arrested six people around Temba today during the station operation which started at 07:30. Members also monitored Covid 19 regulation and stopped and searched vehicles.
Sergeant Herman Moremi of Communications SAPS Temba said the police arrested two people who were found dealing in drugs and four people were found dealing in liquor without licenses. Drugs and liquor that were found in possession of the suspects were seized.
Suspects of drugs will appear in the Moretele magistrate court and those who were arrested for dealing in liquor were issued with fines.
The station commander of Temba SAPS Brigadier Martha Mokobori welcomed the arrest and applauded the members for showing dedication by enforcing the law to those who are involved in criminal activities.
