A musician in Hammanskraal, Nr Phillip Ngobeni, donated vegetable packs to the underprivileged community members in Hammanskraal on 29 May 2021 at Bahwaduba Community Hall.
The musician said he reached out to the vulnerable members of the community because Covid-19 affected many people badly. He committed to continue raising money to help the poor with food.
Mr Ngobeni also runs a movement called Village Art which started a few years back after he realized that the community needs such a structure to source information.
He has a Diploma in Popular music specializing in Jazz and was recently nominated for the Provincial Artist Creation North West with his band Badimo Jazz Band.
“My wish is to help young and upcoming artists to make the right choices in the music business by providing them with the right information,” he said.
