Police arrested nine people around Temba areas who were found in possession of drugs and illegal gambling during station Operation today.
Sergeant Herman Moremi of Corporate Communications Temba SAPS said the police were conducting stop and search and also following the lead of those who continue to sell drugs around Temba areas and managed to arrest five men around Kopanong, Marokolong Village, and Stinkwater who were found in possession of drugs. The drugs were wrapped in plastics, and four men were arrested for illegal gambling.
“Those who were arrested for gambling were issued with fines and suspects of drugs were detained and expected to appear in the Moretele magistrate court soon,” said Sergeant Moremi.
