Members of Temba SAPS together with the Community Policing Forum (CPF) and Unica Factory extended their support to the needy families by donating food parcels around Temba areas yesterday.
Sergeant Herman Moremi Temba SAPS Corporate Communications said more than a hundred families around Lephengville, Mashimong section 5, and Sekampaneng V section received food parcels which include rice, sugar, tea, juice, tin fish, and maize meal.
“The Community members appreciated and embraced what the Police and the CPF are doing since the last year 2020 during lockdown when they started this project of helping the poor together with their sponsors from Babelegi factory.
“The project kicked started after realizing that many people lost their jobs during lockdown due to Covid 19 and focused on assisting the elderly and poor families,” he said.
