Temba Police are investigating a case of murder after the body of an unknown man was found at Dilopye village today 2022-07-13 morning.
Sergeant Herman Moremi of Temba Saps Corporate Communication said the Police received information at around 08:00 about a car that was set alight and a man who was lying next to the car.
“When they arrived at the scene they found a body of a man with his hands tied and injuries on the lower and, upper body. The rocks and sticks that were suspected to be used to assault the deceased were found next to the body,” he said.
The station Commander of Temba SAPS, Brigadier Johannes Tau, condemned this kind of killings in the area and urged anyone with information to come forward or to call the police on 08600 10111 with an option of being anonymous when giving information.
He said community members should refrain from taking the law into their hands.
Police are investigating a case of murder and the deceased is thought to be between the ages of 30 and 40 and still not identified, and the vehicle is Nissan Np 200.
