The Old Mutual Roadshow, a national campaign to champion positive futures through supporting education and caring for communities was in Jubilee Mall, Hammanskraal on Friday 26 August 2022 during Heritage Month.
The youth and the elderly were engaged in the importance of education, investment, and savings through the Learn.Think.Do investment initiatives.
Through this initiative, learners and teachers can access digital content such as Matric Live and Velle which follows the national curriculum to support the youth of South Africa and help them grow and be successful.
Mr Bheki Monareng, the Old Mutual Provintial General Manager in Gauteng based in Pretoria, who is also the Spokesperson, assured the audience that Old Mutual is committed to assisting communities with access to high-quality education.
Along with the school principal, Ms Dephney Chuene reiterated the expectations of a 100% pass rate for matriculants and how the Matric Live and Velle App can assist them.
Learners were apple to download the Apps onsite to receive study material at no extra cost.
Old Mutual also ran competitions and handed out goodies as part of engaging the audience and as part of educating the audience about the new Retail Scheme, the Bula Tsela which offers shares for as little as R1000 for 100 shares.
