Temba police visited Sekampaneng primary school as part of educating learners from grade four to grade seven and educators about criminal activities and crime hints on 2022-10-26.

Sergeant Herman Moremi of Corporate Communication SAPS Temba said learners were sensitized about discipline, illegal gambling, bullying, theft, drugs, substance abuse, dangerous weapon, human trafficking, missing person, malicious damage to property and assault cases.

“Learners were urged to refrain from committing or being involved in criminal activities and to focus on their studies, rather assist the school and police by reporting any criminal activities happening around their school and their area.

“They were urged to stop walking on the street during the night and not to talk to strangers and avoid social media. Teachers were advised to encourage learners to participate in sporting activities to keep the children busy,” he said.
