 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSOLIDATION AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TOWNSHIP IN TERMS OF SECTIONS 94-97 OF THE MORETELE LOCAL MUNICIPALITY SPATIAL PLANNING AND LAND USE MANAGEMENT BY-LAW,2018

 BOSCHPLAATS EXTENSION 2

I, Tshiamo Dorah Kgasi ID No: 850425 0335 083, on behalf of Emendo (Pty) Ltd, being the authorized applicant of Portion 32 (a Portion of portion 2) and Portion 33, (a Portion of Portion 2) of the farm Boschplaats No. 91 J.R hereby give notice in terms of Section 94-97 of the Moretele Local Municipality Spatial Planning and Land Use Management By-Law, 2018, that I have applied to the Moretele Local Municipality for Consolidation and Township Establishment in terms of Section 73, and Section 56, respectively of the Moretele Spatial Planning and Land Use Management By-Law,2018, on the properties as described above. The properties will be known as Boschplaats Extension 2 (referred to as Annexure hereto).

ANNEXURE

Name of the township: Boschplaats Extension 2

Property Description: Portion 32 (a Portion of portion 2) and Portion 33 (a Portion of portion 2) of the Farm Boschplaats 91 JR, situated on Corner Makapanstad Road and Station Street. The properties measure approximately 8,9046ha in extent and are located approximately 50 meters away from the Boschplaats East Clinic.

Proposed Zoning: Boschplaats Extension 2 consists of 2 Erven of which are zoned “agriculture”; the proposed zoning is “Business 2” and “Transport”.

Proposed Land Uses:  

  • ERF 1: Offices, Parking, Shop, Restaurant, Residential Building
  • ERF2: Car wash, Informal Business, Gymnasium / Fitness Centre, Offices, Parking, Place of Entertainment, Shop, Restaurants, Taxi Rank

A copy of the application and supporting documentation will be available for viewing during office hours for 30 days at Moretele Local Municipality, 4065B Mathibestad, MAKAPANSTAD, 0404, North West Province from the 15th of February 2024.

Objections or comments together with reasons therefore in respect of the application shall be lodged with, or made in writing. Any person who cannot write may, during office hours report to the Municipality where they will assist in transcribing the objections or comments.
