In a display of generosity, the contestants of the Little Miss Jubilee Mall pageant turned their final rehearsals into a day of service, donating clothing and essential items to those in need. The young princesses came together on Sunday, 26 October 2025, to support the Lekao Foundation, Celesta Children’s Home, and Tswaraganang Orphanage, embodying the spirit of kindness that the pageant promotes.
Organised by Black Chair Events, the initiative aimed to instil in the young contestants the importance of giving back to their communities. Each princess took the opportunity to collect and donate unused clothes and other essential items, transforming what could have been a typical rehearsal into a meaningful act of compassion.

- The donations received will have a significant impact on the lives of children and families supported by these organisations, bringing much-needed hope and comfort to those in challenging circumstances.
“The gesture by the Little Miss Jubilee Mall princesses serves as an inspiring reminder that even the smallest hands can make a big difference when guided by love and purpose,” said Mimi Mashigo, Founder of Black Chair Events.

She emphasised that the pageant is not solely about beauty and performance; it’s about nurturing character and community spirit. “We don’t just raise queens for the stage — we raise queens with hearts,” Ms Mashigo stated, highlighting the core values of character, community, and care that underpin true pageantry.
Ms Mashigo concluded that the dedication demonstrated by the Little Miss Jubilee Mall princesses, as they prepare for their forthcoming event, exemplifies the significant impact that young individuals can have within their communities through acts of kindness and service.
