Big Save Supermarket accompanied by the youth from ward 74 in Temba visited the Clinic and Dan Legwape’s home as part of their Mandela day 67 minutes celebration.
The group of young people spent their day honoring the late Nelson Mandela by cleaning and tidying Temba’s clinic garden and cleaned Mr Dan Legwape’s yard who is suffering from a mental health problem, living alone with no one to look after.

“It feels good to do something like this as young people, I feel great about it and we made a difference in someone’s life today,” said Thabang Mlambo one of the youth leaders.
Big Save human resources and marketing administrator, Ms Emily Mohale, said this is part of giving back to the community as a supermarket.
“It is not always about tangible things, a helping hand can also make a difference,” she said.
Mr Dan Legwape, who is not a man of many words was very thankful after the young people cleaned for him “ I am happy and I want to say thank you”.
