Superstar Soccer Academy officially launched a development academy, which will grow Hammanskraal bred talent at Mandela village soccer grounds at Hammanskraal on Wednesday, 09 August.
The academy held its first Trials for the U 12, U15, U17 and the U19, which saw a lot of talented players being scouted by the superstars academy coaches.
“I am very impressed, the boy were very impressive although some still need to be polished” said Mr Shadrack Mlambo, Under-17 coach who was clearly impressed with the talent from Hammanskraal players.
Under 17 player who got selected, Kabelo Mdawo, said “ I feel calm and excited, I was a bit nervous at first, but I adjusted well and I am happy with my performance.”
Another player from the under-19 Itumeleng Mosipa (18) said this academy seem to be promising and he will make it his home.
The academy still appeals to the community and businesses in Hammanskraal for sponsorship, to be able to unearth soccer talent in Hammanskraal.
