The Superstar Soccer Academy is currently playing in the Football Association of Pretoria(FAP) under the name #Maritimo II. “This is a Portuguese Club that is our Parent Club,” said coach Shadrack Mlambo who is in charge of the under 19.
The Academy has so far registered two Divisions Under 17 and 19 with age groups, 2004-2002, 2001-2000.
The under 17 that is coached by Tyrone Adams, played nine games winning seven and one draw and lost one game gaining 22 points which put them in first position.
The under 19 played six games winning four, one draw and lost one game gaining them 13 points which put them at second position.
“We are using Maritimo Sports Field as our home ground in Hatfield and we have the Academy Administrator, Jane Mthembu, to thank for all the administration that she is doing at the Academy,”said Coach Mlambo.
