As part of the Study Destination Series, Moretele Times and the South African Student Cities Network will host the “Youth Career Education” Winter Film Festival to be held on 14-17 June 2019 at the Sebothoma Auditorium in Unit D, Temba Hammanskraal.
The “Youth Career Education Winter Film Festival” is scheduled to coincide with the winter school holidays is particularly aimed at Grade 8-12 learners from high schools in and around Hammanskraal.
Using the powerful medium of film as a platform of communication, the “Youth Career Education Winter Film Festival” will showcase a series of selected popular films with powerful women characters to inspire young girls and women to pursue their career aspirations and dreams
The “Youth Career Education Winter Film Festival” will also feature special promotional clips on the “City of Tshwane as a Premier Study Destination” as well as provide free “Choreography and Musical Theatre” sessions hosted by the Tshwane University of Technology Musical Theater Department to selected participants who are interested in the performing arts as a career option.
