Simon Thopola (30) together with his two partners, will on Monday visit Boikanyo mentally and disabled children’s home in Hammanskraal Temba to donate food parcels and clothes.
Mr Thopola said that center caught their attention on the Moretele Times website last month when seeking financial help.
“As we host some of the events around Mathibestad, we came up with an idea that can assist a needy Organisation around Hammanskraal and it happened to be Boikanyo mentally and disabled children’s home.
“This Saturday I am hosting an event together with my two partners and we are currently selling tickets and the proceeds will be donated to the center,” he said.
“We also asked some of the community residents to assist with donations of old unused clothes to give to the center. We want to give back to the community through a raffle competition in Mathibestad Cash Store (Ko Ngezi).
“I urge community members to come forward with anything they wish to donate, old clothes, shoes, or any kind of donation they can provide.
The community can also buy our movie tickets to help us raise funds for the center,” said Mr Thopola.
