Temba Police arrested nine suspects around the Temba City complex and Kopanong shopping complex after they were found in possession of nyaope and dagga.
Spokesperson of Temba Police, Constable Herman Moremi, said members of Temba SAPS embarked on the operation this morning around Temba and Hammanskraal doing stop and search along Jubilee Road and shopping complex and managed to recover drugs packed in plastics.
The station commander of Temba SAPS Brigadier Martha Mokobori, applauded the members for a job well done and for showing commitment and encouraged them to continue cleaning the area.
The suspects will appear at Moretele Magistrate Court in due cause.
