Temba SAPS together with Community Policing Forum and Department of Community Safety celebrated 67 minutes of service in honor of Madiba at Stinkwater with pensioners.
The Gogo’s who play soccer were given soccer balls, a whistle and a stop watch. Eighty pensioners were given food parcels and provided with lunch.
Constable Herman Moremi said the goodies that were given to the elderly citizens put a smile on their faces.
“On the day, they never stopped singing with joy and thanked all the members of SAPS and Cpf to celebrate this day with them,” Constable Moremi said.
