People who were suspected to have contracted COVID 19 at Jubilee Hospital have tested negative. Jubilee hospital said they are doing everything in their power to ensure the community of Hammanskraal is protected from COVID-19 as well as the workers.

All patients that enter the hospital are screened for COVID -19 before opening files and suspected cases are tested immediately.

Dental Practitioner at Jubilee Hospital, Dr Tema, said dental practitioners are at the forefront of the Covid-19 outbreak through direct and contact transmission of face to face communication.

Two of the clinics rendering oral health services in Suurman and Ramotse are closed and patients that need oral health services are diverted to Jubilee hospital and Kekana Gardens clinics. All elective procedures are delayed until further notice and only emergencies are attended to.

Dr Tema pleaded with members of the community to observe and comply with the COVID-19 lockdown protocols.
