Tshepo 1 Million will be giving back to the community in Hammanskraal in an engagement that will provide support for young hustlers, work-seekers and entrepreneurs on their journeys to learning and earning.
The engagement was paused due to the national lockdown, however, Tshepo 1 Million is coming back to ekasi lakho with the first activation on Thursday, 3rd of December. The event starts at 8 am with members walking the streets of Temba.
Tsepo 1 Million Regional Coordinator, Mr Fortune Mathabathe, said Tshepo 1 Million helped youth with opportunities to get experience before national lockdown.
“Before COVID-19, the Tshepo 1 Million Village at the Gauteng Youth Expo offered youth an opportunity to experience all the program has to offer and so we are taking that experience on the road to get closer to young people across Gauteng and encourage them to join the network to get the opportunity they need to own their futures,” said Mr Mathabatha.
Attendees will also get educated about how to get their hustle on with our AmaSuperhero we Tshepo 1 Million and be inspired by the experience of local beneficiaries of the Tshepo 1 Million program.
“It costs nothing to join the network, all young people need to do is register on the data free mobi-site tshepo.data-free.co.
The new and improved mobi-site offers young work-seekers access to a range of opportunities specifically in their areas and also a variety of resources like CV tips, interview preparation, online learning, entrepreneurial support and access to emotional and legal support,” Mr Mathabatha said.
