He is a family man who provides for his family so that they never go to bed on an empty stomach. He has achieved this through his calling of healing people as a traditional healer and selling African medicine.

This is Mr David Mahlangu, from Marokolong Hammanskral, who has been selling African medicine in the last 18 years in Temba.

He started his business when he got a calling from his ancestors to go to an ancestral school so that he could heal people. After he had completed his trials to learn how to heal people, he started selling traditional medicine to local people at Temba City.

“I have achieved a lot from selling this African medicine. Through this, I have been able to feed my children and put them through school,” said Mr Mahlangu.

Mr Mahlangu said black people need to use African medicine as it is relevant to them and there are other illnesses that western medication can not heal.

“My medicine works for sexually transmitted diseases. People should stop stereotyping that we are witches, we were called by ancestors to help and sustain ourselves from this calling,” he said.

Mr Mahlangu encouraged black people to stop believing in western culture where it is not relevant and consult with traditional healers to get help.
